How to set the time?

1. Pull the crown into position B.

2. Turn the crown to set the time.

3. Push the crown back to position A.

How do I clean my watch?

Always clean the watch gently with a clean, dry, and soft cloth. Cloths containing dirt, sand or dust particles may lead to scratches and should therefore be avoided. Please use the cloth provided. 

How should I take care of my watch?

Try to avoid contact with products including (but not limited to): perfume, cosmetics, cream, sun lotion, and cleaning products.

Additionally, make an effort to steer clear of hard or rough materials.

It's also advisable to avoid the exposure of your watch to humid environments (such as bathrooms while showering). Prolonged exposure to sunlight might also damage your watch. We recommend that you do not wear our watches during sports or while sleeping.

Is my watch water resistant?

Readers Society watches have a 5 ATM water rating which by definition can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 metres. Splashes, Rain or snow, Showering, Swimming, Diving into water, snorkelling are suitable. 

Readers Society watches should not be exposed to hot water or to chemical substances such as perfume, cosmetics and cleaning products. Please note Readers Society watches can also be influenced by water vapour and condensation caused by warm environments or conditions and thus, should also stay away from hot water.

Battery Replacement

Has the battery run out on your watch? We want to ensure that you replace the battery of your Readers Society watch at a certified local jeweller. Please note that the warranty will no longer cover your Readers Society watch if you open the watch yourself.
