Elegant, refined and subtle, our core bookish watch is heavily inspired by Dark Academia.
The delicate unisex design of this watch makes it the perfect accessory for fashionable, yet subtle results. The black dial is combined with raised metal Roman numerals and minimal hourly indexes, and mesh strap details to create a beautiful minimal timepiece.
You will find subtle Readers Society branding on the watch face, mesh strap clasp, crown and inside case.
This is a premium and subtle bookish piece that you can wear every day whilst snuggled up reading at home, or browsing at your local bookshop.
Presented in a custom black pull draw watch box featuring Readers Society branding in gold foil.
The Specs:
A sleek Stainless Steel case and Stainless Steel mesh band. Featuring Seiko VJ20 Japanese quartz movement, a metal index dial, and Sapphire glass, with 5ATM waterproofing.
The strap can be easily interchanged, which will allow you to personalise your watch as we are hoping to add new watches and straps in 2025.
Sapphire Glass: The most expensive type of watch glass, which is incredibly hard and durable. Sapphire Glass is virtually scratchproof and the best material to protect the watch dial against shock.
Stainless Steel: Waterproof and Tarnish proof, Stainless Steel is a staple material here at Readers Society due to its longevity.
Seiko VJ20 Japanese quartz movement: Quartz movements are very accurate and are used in many high-end watches. Battery-powered, Japanese quartz movement are extremely reliable.
5ATM waterproofing: Withstands pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters. Splashes, rain or snow, showering, bathing and washing hands is feasable. However, we do still recommend removing your watch before swimming, showering to prolong it's life.
